Blue Ridge Timberframe Shenandoah Museum  

The Museum of Shenandoah Valley - This Virginia museum tells the story of the art, history, and culture of the great valley for which it is named. Blue Ridge Timberwrights worked closely with Michael Graves & Associates and Hitt Contracting, Inc. to create these unique timber frames.

 Blue Ridge Timberframe Chateau Morrisette Winery and Visitor Center
Chateau Morrisette - Located in a spectacular mountain setting on the Blue Ridge Parkway, in Virginia, the winery and visitors' center was completed in 1998. More than 12,000 timbers were used to create the feeling and grandeur of old-world architecture.
 

Blue Ridge Timberframe Overton Retreat  

Overton Retreat - Completed in 2004, this unique timber frame presented many exciting challenges for BRTW. Located in McMinnville, Tennessee, this project features a pavilion, a large stone fireplace and a tower that allows for viewing over the lake.

 
Blue Ridge Timberframe Old Salem Covered Bridge 
Old Salem Covered Bridge - This award-winning bridge was created by BRTW in Old Salem Village, North Carolina. Built in 1998, more than 600 salvage yellow pine timbers were used to create this historic timber frame bridge.

Somerset Place Historic Site - In 2001, BRTW was asked to create an authentic timber frame structure for a 19th-century Plantation Hospital located on Lake Phelps, North Carolina.

AxiomID - Ancient building art meets contemporary design in this one-of-a-kind timber frame located on seven wooded acres in Huntsville, North Carolina. This innovative timber frame was created by BRTW in 2002.

 
Blue Ridge Timberframe Roanoke Bus Shelter City of Roanoke Bus Shelter - This timber frame structure constructed for the City of Roanoke, Virginia serves as a bus stop shelter near the historic Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center.
   
Blue Ridge Timberframe Syon Abbey Syon Abbey - Started in 2002, this timber frame was designed for a community of Benedictine monks located on the first ridge of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, near Roanoke.
   
Blue Ridge Timberframe Red Hill Memorial 
Red Hill Memorial - In 2003, BRTW created an historically accurate 18th century timber frame for the blacksmith shop at Red Hill, Virginia, the home of Patrick Henry.
   
Blue Ridge Timberframe Mill Mountain Discovery Center 
Mill Mountain Discovery Visitor's Center - Completed in 2000, this Virginia timber frame was used to create an innovative welcome for the 280,000 annual visitors to the Mill Mountain Discovery Center
   
 Blue Ridge Timberframe Henson Forest
Henson Forest Clubhouse - Still under construction, this North Carolina timber frame was created in 2005 using round logs to give the structure a lodge feel.
   
Blue Ridge Timberframe Franklin Park Arts Center
Franklin Park Performing & Visual Arts Center - Started in 1997, BRTW worked with the Timber Framers Guild to help integrate a solar power array into the Virginia timber frame. When complete, the structure will be the first solar-powered arts center in the United States.
