Add a Sense of History to Your Timber Frame Project Our reclaimed St. Lawrence Seaway douglas fir timbers (shown left) were salvaged from decades old floating "sidewalks" that once helped men steer timber down rivers and across lakes. See our article in the New River Current, "New Life for Old Timber" for more information on these unique timbers. Our reclaimed long leaf southern yellow pine is from Savannah Harbor, where the timbers once served as pilings dating back to the late 1600's. This time spent submerged gave the timbers their unique color and character. In addition, we have a limited supply of reclaimed heart pine timbers taken from mills and tobacco warehouses; and a variety of reclaimed red and white oak timbers. Reclaimed Wood Flooring Blue Ridge Timberwrights can provide your project with reclaimed wood flooring cut direct from our inventory of salvaged timbers. Our reclaimed flooring is longer and wider than new flooring, giving your project the distinctive character of an antique floor. We have 4/4 Reclaimed Heart Pine and 4/4 Reclaimed Douglas Fir boards in stock now. Reclaimed Wood Decking/Planking We can also supply your project with reclaimed wood flooring. Our reclaimed douglas fir planks can be used for molding or custom millwork to make your project one-of-a-kind.
